SMS consent & opt-in
Opavé is salon management software used by independent salons and stylists (our customers) to manage appointments for their own clients. This page explains how clients agree to receive text messages, exactly what they are told, and how they can stop. Messages are sent from our toll-free number, +1 (833) 754-4994.
How consent is collected
When a client books online or checks out, the app presents the client with an unchecked consent checkbox and the disclosure below before any text message is sent. Consent is only recorded in our system if the client (or the stylist on the client's behalf, after reading the script aloud) affirmatively checks the box.
Verbal consent script
Read aloud to the client at checkout or during booking, when consent is collected verbally rather than via the on-screen checkbox:

"Before I finish booking your appointment, I'd like to confirm — would you like to receive text message reminders and updates about your upcoming appointment from us? By saying yes, you agree to receive automated appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices and receipts by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Do you consent to receive these messages?"
On-screen disclosure (checkout)

No marketing messages are sent from this number.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
